Film-accurate dry turkey (Christmas Vacation)

Bake the turkey from frozen, unseasoned, stabbing it repeatedly to check for pink.

Roast in a 400F oven until the juices run clear or none are left.

Cook from rock-hard frozen at 400 degrees for about six hours, until the pop-up timers pop out. The result is profoundly dry; keep the carcass for stock.
