Herb butter-basted eggs on toast

Heat the pan over medium with a generous amount of butter until sizzling; crack in the two eggs.

Turn the heat up slightly and baste the top of each yolk with the hot butter until it turns white.

When the whites are cooked on top, add the chopped herbs and baste a few more times.

Lay the eggs over sliced toasted bread and pour a little of the herb butter over the top.
