Ingredients

Techniques
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 5 lb spiral sliced, already cooked ham
Mix the glaze: brown sugar, honey, a little ground cloves and enough pineapple juice to make it pourable but not so thin that it will not stick.
Mixing the honey glaze
  • ground cloves
  • pineapple juice
Brush about half the glaze all over the ham.
Cover with foil and bake at 325 for half an hour; the ham is already cooked and only needs warming through.
  • pineapple slices
Brush on half the remaining glaze, pin pineapple slices on with toothpicks, and pour the rest of the glaze over the top.
Return to the oven uncovered for another half hour, then broil about a minute.
Separate the slices, arrange the pineapple rings and spoon the pan juices over.
Uncovered bake, broil and serve
