Season a pound of 70/30 ground beef with a little soy, salt, ground pepper and garlic powder; mix with gloved hands.

Spray the smoker grate and smoke the patties at 325 about half an hour.
  • neutral oil
  • sliced mushrooms
  • sliced onion
Heat a little neutral oil, cook sliced mushrooms a couple of minutes, then add sliced onion and soften a few minutes.

Add beef broth and bring to a good simmer.
  • 2 tbsp soy
  • 1 tbsp steak sauce
Add a couple tablespoons of soy, about a tablespoon of steak sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • cornstarch
  • water
Stir in a cornstarch slurry to thicken; simmer a couple of minutes and set aside.

Add soy and a little drizzle of sesame oil; mix and cook off excess moisture.
  • butter
  • 1 whole egg
Fry one egg sunny side up in butter; season with a little salt and pepper.
