Techniques
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 whole banana
  • 1 tsp Mexican vanilla blend
Smash the banana in a bowl. Add the vanilla, cinnamon, eggs, vegetable oil and one cup milk and mix.
  • 3 whole eggs
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
Add the yellow cake mix and mix until well combined.
  • butter
  • vanilla wafers
Butter the baking dish all around. Pour in a thin layer of batter, lay vanilla wafers on it so they stay put, then pour in the rest of the batter and even it out.
Layering wafers in the baking dish
Bake at 350 for about 30 to 35 minutes, until fully baked.
Cool 20 to 30 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • ½ can sweetened condensed milk
Mix one cup milk, the evaporated milk and about half a can of sweetened condensed milk. Pour over the cake; use less for a less wet cake.

Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least four hours.
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 1 packet sugar-free banana cream pudding
Mix the cup and a half of milk with the banana cream pudding packet about two minutes, until it thickens.
  • 4 oz Cool Whip
Fold in the Cool Whip. Refrigerate about five minutes to thicken.
Spread the pudding over the cake (optionally over a layer of sliced bananas) and top with crumbled vanilla wafers.
