Preheat the oven to 375F and line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper.

Cream the room-temperature butter with both sugars until well creamed.

Add the egg, the zest of half an orange and the vanilla paste; scrape the sides and mix until combined.

Add the dry ingredients and mix only until the flour is incorporated, to avoid a tough cookie.
Mix in the white chocolate chips and chopped strawberries briefly.
Scoop the dough with an ice cream scoop onto the sheets a couple of inches apart.
